The ordination council consisted of deacons from Beulah Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove Baptist along with Pastors from Vance Baptist Church in Alabama and the Pensacola area. Dr. Adams was the chairmen of the ordination council. I thought that the ordination council interview would be the hardest part of the process. But I was put at ease by these men who were so loving and genuinely cared about me and the calling on my life.
I was so stoked to see so many friends and loved ones who have meant so much to me come out on a stormy night to show support. Friends and family from Ponchatoula, P’Cola, FWB and Alabama were all part of this special evening. As each man laid hands in prayer on me it made me think of how unworthy I am of any of this. I hope and pray that I never feel worthy of anything that God allows me to do. This evening was surely sanctified and blessed by Gods grace and mercy.

On August 22nd my daughter’s and I had the honor of taking part in the ordination service for their father and my husband, Kenny. It was truly an awesome experience. It was moving to see so many friends and loved ones gathered to share with us as we celebrated the beginning of a new stage in Kenny’s life and ministry. You could surely feels God’s presence in the service, as a storm raged outside there was complete peace within. It was especially touching for me as Kenny’s Dad, Tim Quigley, Dale Winslett and Jay Gulliot came forward one at a time to lay hands on Kenny in prayer. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. The girls
