Give Me Shelter Ministries will sponsor two teenagers for a wonderful mission October 2 – 9 with Beachside Community Church. Called “Multipliers,” this mission trip will take teen-aged youths from Casa Hogar Elim orphanage on an airplane to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

We have a need to support Pastor Harry in building a new home for his family in Port Au Prince. The cost of supplies have skyrocketed as you can imagine, but we can still build him a nice home for $16,000 US. Please consider donating to this wonderful servant of Christ in Haiti.
You may have already contributed, as we have had so much wonderful support since the earthquake. Please do not feel as though we have completed this mission. We have a tremendous opportunity to help the Brothers and Sisters in Haiti to provide the Good News to so many who have it worse than ever.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Aside from missing the family all is well. Nothing has changed here, just seems that life continues to move along with no hope in sight. What a day. This is the kind of day that is certainly in store for all who plan on spending time in Haiti. We spent all day in Port au Prince running errands for Chuck. It always completely wipes me out. I would rather be doing hard labor out in the field. I am less tired from a physical day of work versus the craziness of the city. And what would a day in the city be without vehicle trouble. read more »
