Dr. Hershel Adams -

Hershel Adams received his Doctorate of Ministry at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Hershel, a Doctor of Ministry for over 30 years, is currently the Director of Missions for the Choctaw Baptist Association in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
His experience in serving the Lord as pastor and missionary is a great asset to the development of Give Me Shelter Ministries.
Hershel and his wife over 40 years, Mary Ann, have a son, Brian H. Adams.

Shaun Ellis is currently serving as a church planter in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. Before beginning Beachside Community Church in 2008, Shaun served as a youth minister at churches in Al, La, and Fl. Shaun, who grew up in Hayden, Alabama, says he “always knew” his now wife, Tami.
Shaun and Tami have two daughters, Cali (11) and Peyton (7). Tami teaches high school biology and serves as a small group leader for Beachside.
Shaun, a dedicated teacher and leader, wants all people to know the joys of knowing Christ. He works with GMSM to organize and orchestrate mission trips, especially to Nuevo Laredo, MX. Shaun’s education and experience has prepared him for ministry.
His education includes an A.A.S. degree in Aviation Flight Technology in 1994, a B.S. in Secondary Science Education in 1996, and a M.A. in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001.
Before serving in churches Shaun also did stints as a school teacher, flight instructor, horse farm assistant, gutter installer, and gas station attendant.
Kelly Stanford

Kelly Stanford has been serving with FBC FWB on missions in Mexico the past three years.
An Alabama native and Ft. Walton Beach for almost 24 years, Kelly Stanford serves as a juvenile probation officer in Fort Walton Beach.
Kelly has been working with the youth in the Ft. Walton Beach Baptist Church in some capacity for approximately 18 years.
Kelly has participated in several mission trips throughout the years and is a great asset to Give Me Shelter Ministries.
Kelly has been married for over 20 years to Gary Stanford, who is the director of finance for Okaloosa County. Kelly and Gary have three children, Matthew, 21, Rachel, 17, and Stephen, 13.
Kelly graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. She previously worked for the State of Florida as a juvenile probation officer.

Caise Vickery
Caise is a retired Air Force Officer with over twenty years experience in Contracting and Acquisition Management. He has held unlimited warrants for both the Air Force and the National Reconnaissance Office.
Currently he is the lead instructor for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Project and Acquisitions Management degree at Okaloosa-Walton College. Caise earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University, a Master Science in Contracting Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Florida State University.
A graduate of the Defense Systems Management College, he is a Certified Acquisition Professional (Level III Contracting) and a Certified Professional Contracts Manager from the National Contract Management Association. Caise is the recipient of multiple Defense Meritorious Service Medals and the National Reconnaissance Office’s Silver Medal for Superior Service.
