Our Mission:
Give Me Shelter Ministries provides help and hope in the name of Jesus Christ, sharing the Word of God and promise of Eternal Shelter, to those most in need anywhere in the world.
A Letter From the Founder:
The development of Give Me Shelter Ministries is the result of seven years of praying and listening to the Holy Spirit’s call to the mission field. The main goal of GMSM is to advance God’s kingdom through sharing the gospel with people in need and through the construction of physical shelters.
GMSM has been involved with missionary Clint Akins in the construction of a church in Madagascar, as well as with missionary Ray White in the construction of homes in Mexico. Additionally, GMSM has been on several mission trips with Dr.Hershel Adams, Director of Missions for the Choctaw Baptist Association to complete maintenance and construction on a mission facility in West Virginia.
Also, GMSM has partnered with First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach on construction projects in Alaska, Montana, Nevada, Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage in Mexico, and was involved in the distribution of food to the needy in Mexico.
When not on mission trips GMSM is involved with a Bible study for the homeless at FBC FWB and a prison softball ministry throughout the United States.
